I’m Jay Koostix, a soulful singer-songwriter from Houston, Texas, who found a passion for singing later in life. For years, I thought it was too late to start—especially with no experience, a full-time job, and family responsibilities. But when life slowed down during the 202 pandemic it gave me the space to reflect on my dreams and things I had put off. I decided to stop waiting. What began with a buying an acoustic guitar quickly grew into a love for singing. Through learning covers, then eventually writing my own songs, The peace and healing it brought transformed my life.I became devoted to learning everything about singing—through lessons, books, and nonstop practice.

Now, I’m on a mission to help others—especially those who’ve always wanted to sing but felt it was too late or not meant for them. Using the same system that helped me learn quickly, I teach everyday people how to sing better with confidence, make progress even with busy schedules, and share their voice with the world. Through my straight forward no fluff coaching and technique exercises, I’m showing that with the right easy instructions, anyone can sing amazing with confidence, and finally bring their singing dreams to life.
